Welcome Speech by the President of M.O.G.F. Bamenda Women’s Group
A welcome speech during the inauguration on the 11th of January, 2013.
Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen. The President on behalf of the group wishes to welcome all here present. This group started as a mustard seed with 7 members. Now there are about 20 active members made up of widows. Our intention is to help orphans in our own little way. That is to educate them up to moral and academic standards. This is in order that they can be better people in the society. We cannot do it without the support of mommy Veronique. This year we helped 32 orphans in primary schools. We intend to do more if we have the means. This is to relieve them from the trauma widows and orphans are experiencing. We cannot end without mentioning our founder mommy Veronique Njotu who is not only a mother but what words cannot describe "action speaks more than words." May God bless her abundantly. We have financial problems but hope that with her help we shall succeed. Our plan of action is to start poultry farming that can sustain the group
