Founder | Minister Veronique Njotu-Atanga

At the age of 15 years, I lost my father, when I was in Presbyterian Secondary School (PSS) Mankon. I remember that not long after the burial ,I started facing problems of being provided with all my school needs because my mother had to take care of me and four of my five siblings. It bugs my mind till date how she did it as a widow!

God willing, I completed college and travelled to the USA in 1994 to further my studies with the help of my older brother who was living in California at the time.

In 2006 I took seriously ill and strange enough I was diagnosed of having cancer!!! I cried, and cried!! I prayed and prayed but was healed after 2 years of on and off chemotherapy. Thanks to God that I have been cancer free for the pass 6years now. God in his infinite mercy revealed to me that; I should give help or assistance of any sort to underprivileged persons. I turned to God

and asked him; God, how can I say THANK YOU? One joyous morning in my office I was so happy and GOD drop a word in my mind to sent money to all the widows in small mankon and Ngomham to buy a bag of rice for each widow. That became a very joyful gesture that gave me happiness to put smile on a widow’s face. From then I began feeding them every year. The group has multiple now and they are 75 widows minimum that I have to take care of. This is the best thing that I have done in my life that gives me joy and happiness. The widows have meetings ones a month and they are always looking forward for this day especially when I have to be in the meeting. I have made a promise to GOD, that I will take care of the widows and orphans until my last day on earth.

THE BIRTH OF MOM ORPHANAGE GLOBAL FOUNDATION

God in his infinite mercy revealed to me that; I should give help or assistance of any sort to underprivileged persons. I turned to God and asked him, “God, how can I say THANK YOU?” One joyous morning, in my office, I was so happy and GOD drop a word in my mind to send money to all the widows in the localities of Small Mankon and Ngomham in Bamenda, Cameroon, to buy a bag of rice for each widow. That became a very joyful gesture that gave me happiness to put a smile on a widow’s face. From then, I began supporting them yearly. The group has grown to more than seventy five widows. This is the best thing that I have done in my life that gives me joy and happiness. The widows have meetings ones a month and they are always looking forward to this day; most especially, in the few occasions that I happen to be in attendance with them. I made a promise to GOD, to take care of the widows and orphans until my last day on earth. In 2009 I started giving assistance to some twenty six widows at Christmas. By 2011, I realized that some of the widows where unable to provide their children with basic needs and/or afford the cost of elementary education. Some of these children even lack birth certificates, a required document for school enrollment. I provided the necessary funding  for forty-two of the children to have their birth certificates processed and enrolled in elementary school. In 2012, in an effort to maintain and sustain assistance to these two very needy groups of persons, I decided to create Mom Orphanage Global Foundation, a non profit entity that would ensure continued and systematic support to meet the needs and also enhance the lives of these individuals.
